What strengths and experiences do you bring to this office?
The main responsibility of the Council is to set and approve the budget for the county. Having been a Factory Superintendent in the business world with many people working for me, I have experience dealing with large budgets and their challenges. In addition, I have worked on budgets for the Boards of Directors of a number of non-profit organizations, including my church, a museum, and other civic organizations. I have also worked as an Industrial Engineer for Fortune 500 companies, where I was responsible for reducing costs and calculating returns on investment.
