What are the three key messages of your campaign?

Stop the increases in county income taxes
Madison County is the 13th largest county by population in Indiana. Out of the top 20 largest counties, Madison County has the highest county income tax percentage. In 2022, the county council raised the income tax from 1.75% to 2.25%. This year, the state passed a bill allowing counties to increase to 2.9%, effective in 2029.

I have no financial self-interest in this office, whether through increased retirement benefits or earnings. I pledge to donate my earnings to a Madison County charity.

Better reporting to the public and monitoring of where our county tax dollars are spent.
